CHALLENGE
KOYO Bearings were experiencing major heating problems at their factory in Barnsley. They requested Air Centric to attend the factory to conduct a full system assessment to ascertain the most effective resolution.
SOLUTION
After a comprehensive investigation and assessment by the Air Centric team, we discovered that the underground steel pipes, that feed the flow and return to the boilers, had corroded. As a result of this corrosion, the boilers failed, leaving the factory without heat.
We excavated the access road and replaced the steel pipes with more appropriate 6 inch lagged plastic pipes to feed the large gas boilers.
RESULT
After rigorous pressure testing on the pipe work. Air Centric were delighted to reinstate a fully operational heating system to the factory, creating that perfect environment for KOYO Bearings.
